The Bloom Networking Event: Why parental wellbeing matters—and how innovation can help
Date: Thursday, 14 August 2025
Time: 3 – 4 PM BST / 4 – 5 PM CET
Parents and caregivers are the most important people in a child’s early life—but too often, their own wellbeing goes unseen and unsupported.
With the The Bloom, we’re hosting a global conversation on why parental wellbeing matters—and how innovation can help. This session will bring together innovators, community leaders, funders, and ecosystem actors from across sectors and regions.
Together, we’ll explore:
- Why investing in parental wellbeing is essential
- Where new ideas and solutions are most needed
- How innovators and enablers globally can engage with the Good Start Challenge
Whether you’re already working to support parents—or exploring how your work could apply—this event is an opportunity to connect, share, and spark ideas around driving positive change for caregivers of young children.
Who Should Join?
- Innovators: From grassroots organizations, startups, SMEs, and social enterprises
- Community leaders and caregivers, especially from underrepresented and underserved areas
- Actors from adjacent sectors: Health, mental health, livelihoods, urban planning, gender equity, and more
- Funders, policymakers, NGOs, and ecosystem enablers interested in advancing local innovation and wellbeing solutions
We especially encourage participation from women, youth, rural communities, and those not typically engaged in global innovation spaces.
